Fontaine grew up in Adelaide, South Australia where she completed an honours degree in Visual Communications at the University of South Australia. in 2007 Fontaine travelled to New York to undertake an intensive illustration summer school at Parson’s where she developed her signature illustration style. Since 2007 Fontaine has worked for clients such as Anna Sui, Elle Girl Holland, Harper Collins, Penguin, Hurley, The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, Orion Publishers, Something by Natalie Wood, PAM and Rush magazine to name a few. Fontaine is currently based in London.
