Bastien Gaisne, born in Paris - France, graduated from ESAG - Penninghen (graphic design and interior architecture school of Paris) with high honors. Freelance artist, illustrator, architect and designer, assistant of guitar maker James Trussart in Los Angeles. Graphically inspired - among others - by Austrian painter Egon Schiele, French illustrator Tardi, and also by architectural Jugendstil, 30’s Craftsman and 60’s Scandinavian design. Bastien has Illustrated for several tourism guides such as “Guide Michelin”, advertisement campaign for IBM-Rolland Garros with Ogilvy One, exhibitions for the French national electricity company (EDF) and Arcelor, electric guitar designs for Sheryl Crow, Kaiser Chiefs, Ziggy Marley…
