For several glorious years, American artist Ariel McMillion has lived and worked in Sweden, where he maintains a delicate balance between imagination and delusion. When he is not submerged in the creative deluge of Being, Ariel combines comic book and Expressionist elements to create images drenched in texture, distortion, and irony. Apart from being a compulsive tempter of fate and a keeper of strange company (including his own), Ariel fraternizes professionally with parties such as GQ, Men’s Health, Men’s Style, King, Plaza, DV Man, Bonnier Fakta, Ogilvy & Mather, and Slitz.
